Kia Australia has launched a new campaign promoting its expanding electric vehicle line-up, led by a series of films directed by Freddy Mandy and produced by FINCH.
The work imagines a near-future world where household robots have become a familiar part of everyday family life, until a new arrival disrupts the routine in the form of Kia’s all-electric EV5. The hero robot character Roger becomes threatened by the new “favourite” piece of technology in the home and attempts to interfere with the car’s introduction to the family.
The campaign also features a second robot character responding to the launch of the Kia EV4 sedan, with the overall story exploring whether the robots adapt to the new machines or are ultimately left behind.
