Oxfam’s 360 VR short film Evelyn’s Story has taken home a Silver award for Cinematography from this year’s ACS Awards in Queensland.
The award was gifted to Alt’s Sean Ryan – who acted as DOP on the project – for his outstanding contribution in the experimental category.
Sean said: “I’d like to thank our Producer Tyrone Estephan and VR Technologist Raymond Leung for their belief and support in realising this amazing project. It really means a lot for this new medium to be recognised for Cinematography. Thank you also to Steve Callen and David Denneen of Filmgraphics for bringing us all onto this project with Oxfam. It’s an important film that is having a great effect on the fundraising efforts of a great organisation.”
