12 March, 2018

Alt.vfx celebrated International Women’s Day last week with a barbecue garden party at their Darlinghurst studio.

The guest list included over 100 of some of the brightest and best female talent working in the Australian creative industry, including women from creative agencies, production companies, post production and sound houses.

Hosted by Alt.vfx Executive Producer Aborah Buick, the event was designed to help build a more deeply connected female creative community that can better support diversity in the advertising industry.

“Our industry is one of the largest influencers when it comes to popular culture and social change. I think we have a responsibility to ensure that our ideas have many different voices behind them.” said Buick.

“I was so inspired by the conversations that were being had on the day. I’ve never felt more positive about the future of our Industry and what we can achieve together”

The guests enjoyed a fine afternoon of music and networking, as well as some delicious food cooked on the traditional Aussie barbie.
