An undertaking as big as the subject matter. Never ones to back down from a challenge or the chance to create something cool, Alt jumped at the chance to create three separate commercials for Pepsi Japan, all featuring a host of dinosaurs and epic prehistoric landscapes.
It was a massive undertaking, with each spot having only three weeks from start to finish.
In record time the crew modelled, rigged, animated, textured, lit and composited nine types of dinosaurs, with two of the commercials having full-CG environments and particle effects.
Fighting dinosaurs, exploding volcanoes and trademark Japanese humour thanks to two of the country’s most famous comedians… a great combination and a result to be proud of.
